What device do I record on?

• You can record on a computer (if it has a microphone).

• Or, a mobile device:

  • Apple iOS Store

  • Google Play Store

• Recordings & notes will automatically sync across devices.

  • Eg. if you record on your phone, it will appear in your VetNotes account on the computer.

How do the notes get to my practice management software (PMS)?

There is two options:

1. Use one of the VetNotes integrations and VetNotes will automatically send the note to your PMS.

2. Record in VetNotes, and then copy/paste into your PMS.
   ​

Can I use my own note template?

Yes. VetNotes can write in your existing style and template. See the templates tutorial here

Do I need client's permission to record?

• This varies by jurisdiction.

• Many vets say "Do you mind if I use this software to listen to the consult and take notes for me?" or similar.

  • Generally, we see very high uptake amongst clients.
