Inaccurate Notes

Maximise note accuracy inside VetNotes

If VetNotes is including inaccurate information inside your notes, here's how to troubleshoot.

1. Check the Transcript

On the recording page, check the Transcript tab and review the transcript from a consultation. Does it make sense? Is it intelligible?

We're trying to determine if VetNotes is correctly transcribing or hearing in your consultation.

2. Check the Audio Score

3. Optimise consult style for note accuracy

  • If the transcript is accurate, but VetNotes' AI is miss interpreting the information, subtle changes to your communication style can assist.

  • Things that generally reduce note accuracy

    • Speaking quickly

    • Using lots of slang

  • Things that generally increase note accuracy

    • Summarising client's history back to them. eg "Ok so you're saying that...."

    • Saying "I'll note that down" or similar. VetNotes is trained to notice when you say things like "note that down" or "add that on file", and this will increase accuracy.
